Bring the War Home: Monday 22nd November, 7pm. In Arms Reach meeting. 'So far 100,000 Iraqis have been killed as a direct consequence of the US and UK led war on Iraq. It's about time it stopped. Open meeting to discuss ending the Iraqi war and Occupation through sustained grassroots direct action. Open to all who are willing to work within PGA Hallmarks (sorry we don't do hierachy or newspaper selling). The meeting has been called by a hodge-podge of London anarchists, and activists who are sick of pointless A to B marching, and obsessing over how many x people are in Trafalgar Square when it doesn't make a blind bit of difference to what the UK or US government is going to do. Come talk about ideas, and lets put them into action!'

The Plague: Saturday 27th November.
skinnyman Film night benefit for LARC from the Collective Vision crew... "Set against a backdrop of London estate blocks, police wagons and spray paint graffiti, and with a pirate radio commentary provided by Skinnyman and DJ Flip, The Plague follows one weekend in the lives of four friends as they go about their routine, visiting mates, smoking, drinking, freestyling, chasing girls, running scams, partying and getting into trouble. Made on a tiny budget by a gang of enthusiastic young film-makers barely out of college, 23-year-old writer and director Greg Hall injects each scene with wit, imagination and resourcefulness. Winner of the inaugural Katrin Cartlidge Foundation prize at the 10th Sarajevo Film Festival this year, this film was described by presenter Mike Leigh as 'serious, funny, real, surreal and totally anarchic'". It is part of the wider Rising Tide UK network, and seeks to be part of a growing European and worldwide movement of groups working to dismantle the oil industry. Stuff The Bid!: Friday 10th December, 7.30pm.
" The Olympic 2012 bid, that is. The idea is to start doing things against it now and to organise a sort of ripples-in-the-pool series of meetings to draw in wider and wider circles of the many people opposed to the bid. Time is short. The decision will be made in July 2005, but the olympic assessment team will be visiting London 16-18th February. A very influential factor, which they will be assessing, is how much support the bid does or doesn't have amongst people in London. That's why Seb Coe & Co. are now blahing up 70% support on some rigged poll or other. The more people are told about the implications of the bid (not much up to now), the less support it gets. So the aim is to get some really kicking opposition to it being manifest big in the middle of February."

Traveller Solidarity: Saturday 11th December, 7pm.
Planning meeting for the campaign against Constant's evictions (Bailiff firm Constant & Co have long been the company that executes the most vicious evictions of Gypsy and Traveller sites) and other forms of Traveller Solidarity. See Traveller Support

LARC Solstice Party: Tuesday 21st December, 8pm onwards.
We'll be keeping the commodified madness at bay and celebrating the winter solstice at LARC on Tuesday December 21st from 8pm. There'll be plenty of light, music, food and drink, but only if everyone brings something to the collective table. Suggestions include: fairy lights, candles, food baked or bought, red wine for the pot, a CD, balalaika, song or story. Hope to see you there. Come after 5pm to help get things ready. If not, have a good holiday if you can, and let's make good things happen in 2005. The LARC Collective
